genuinely worth it tbf
had my old one for years and finally replaced it. fan speeds range from gentle to proper cooling. also misting makes a real difference on hot days. tech has come a long way lol.

4 stars because app needed a couple tries to connect but fine now. otherwise no complaints. its simple to take apart and clean and works best when the air is dry. would still recommend it.
frankly decent tbh
ordered this after the third heatwave when i finally cracked and couldnt take it anymore. been using it in the kitchen and honestly i should have bought one years ago. water tank is easy to fill and lasts hours which i didnt expect at this price point. evaporative cooling actually works well too. delivery was quick, box was a bit battered but everything inside was fine. set it up in about 15 minutes. been running it every day for about 3 weeks now and its been reliable. electricity bill hasnt gone up much which i was worried about. overall really happy with it.

really pleasantly surprised
I've had a few different ones over the years and this is up there. Key things for me: water lasts 6 to 8 hours on medium, and doubles as a humidifier in the winter. Build quality seems good too, doesn't feel like it'll fall apart. If I had to pick one thing I'd change it'd be the cable length but that's minor.
