read some mixed reviews before buying but im glad i ignored them. in my experience heating mode works properly in winter and its noticeably quieter than my last unit. maybe those other people got a bad unit or something idk.

I've had a few different ones over the years and this is up there. Key things for me: sleep mode actually makes a difference, and installation was less painful than i thought. Build quality seems good too, doesn't feel like it'll fall apart. If I had to pick one thing I'd change it'd be the cable length but that's minor.

ordered this after the third heatwave when i finally cracked and couldnt take it anymore. been using it in the loft and honestly i should have bought one years ago. exhaust pipe is longer than expected which i didnt expect at this price point. sleep mode actually makes a difference too. delivery was quick, box was a bit battered but everything inside was fine. set it up in about 15 minutes. been running it every day for about 3 weeks now and its been reliable. electricity bill hasnt gone up much which i was worried about. overall really happy with it.
actually decent for the price
the one i got from argos was alright but this is genuinely better. its noticeably quieter than my last unit and sleep mode actually makes a difference. worth the upgrade 100%.

surprisingly good so far
its good just not quite perfect. main positives: dehumidifier is actually useful on damp days, and its noticeably quieter than my last unit. minor gripe: slightly louder on max than i expected. would i buy it again? yeah probably.
